We are seeking an energetic, hungry, and driven sales executive to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects. We are seeking an individual who can represent the organization with professionalism, tenacity, and is:

  3. Willing to cultivate new business opportunities by scheduling, coordinating, and conducting client meetings via phone, in-person appointments, and networking events.

Senior Account Executive Job Description:

The ideal candidate should possess a strong passion for sales and demonstrate a hunter mentality balanced with relationship-building and customer-centric skills to build a base of clients for generating residual business. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is willing to establish networking connections not only with business owners but also with construction companies, commercial real estate developers, and architect & design firms.

Senior Account Executive Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, with a preference for experience with Wisconsin-based companies.
  • Creative and strategic prospecting skills.
  • Executive-level presentation skills.
  • Business savvy, a competitive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office and Sales Management CRM tools.
  • Proven background in selling office furniture, fixtures, services, or another B2B-targeted product/service; preferably with high-level contacts throughout the state of Wisconsin.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, results-oriented, and willing to take ownership of forecasting and exceeding projections.

The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients.

Responsibilities:

· Consult with client and project team members to identify project parameters

· Conduct site analysis and field verification including furniture and equipment inventories

· Conduct workplace analysis for plan development and product recommendations relative to the specific needs of the organization within budgetary considerations

· Conduct ongoing meetings and presentations with the project team members, both internal and external, to ensure proper project coordination including time management, product and finish selections and budgetary considerations

· Develop furniture plans including technology, electrical and communication data for use with project team members including the client, architects and designers, contractors and sub-contractors

· Follow all local, state and national building codes as they relate to the workplace space plan, furniture and finishes to ensure proper ergonomics and workplace safety

· Develop detailed furniture plans, renderings and finish schedules to ensure clear communication of all proposed furniture layouts, products and finishes

· Develop detailed specifications for furniture, finishes and accessories

· Audit and review documentation of all client approved work for design, accuracy and completeness prior to order entry

· Create detailed installation documents for furniture and finishes for both internal and external use

· Conduct daily time tracking of activities for both billable and non-billable tasks

· Keep up to date on industry trends and technology advancements as they relate to the workplace environment

· Attend Manufacturer Representative presentations to maintain knowledge of current products and finishes

· Attend and participate in workplace, product and design software seminars and training sessions to help facilitate professional growth

· Participate in community design events and competitions as determined by leadership

· Work in concert with other colleagues to achieve goals related to project quality and process while maintaining client expectations

· Work towards NCIDQ Certification upon completion of appropriate eligibility requirements

Qualifications:

· Degree in related field Proficient in AutoCAD, CET, and Microsoft Office suite

· Strong creative and communication skills

· Demonstrated ability to execute
